If, like us, you love a back story...

 We have been friends for over twenty years, having met whilst working together in a corporate environment in London.  For us back then, plants were very much an afterthought and were mostly encountered when garnishing a cocktail!

Busy family lives and careers took us in different directions but separately we each harboured a passion for good food and its benefits.

Issy went on to qualify as a chef from Leiths School of Food and Wine, as well as pursuing naturopathic training.  Whilst not entirely plant-based herself, she has become a strong believer in the power of plants to support health, energy and vitality through her own ongoing studies in the naturopathic world.

Over the years, Katie has embraced a fully plant-based lifestyle, driven by curiosity about how food supports health and wellbeing. This led to  her qualifying as a Natural chef at the College of Naturopathic Medicine where she learnt to prepare gourmet meals that focus on nutritional value.  She also attended Bettina’s Retreat Academy Course learning the intricacies of retreat cheffing.

United by a shared past and a belief that plant-based food should be both delicious and nourishing, but not too serious or "worthy",  they began creating meals rooted in nutrient-dense, whole ingredients. What started as cooking for family and friends evolved into a shared purpose: to make yummy, nutritious plant-based food that even the suspicious teens enjoy. One wet and windy winter walk, Petworth Plant Kitchen was born.

We absolutely love working together and believe that Petworth Plant Kitchen brings together our individual strengths into a collaborative venture centred on wellness, nourishment and most of all, joy!
